The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development opened its application period on Monday for $75 million in California Competes tax credits. The deadline to submit applications is Jan. 25.
The $200 million state program provides incentives for businesses to create jobs in California. State officials judge applications on factors such as the number of jobs a company vows to create and how much it pays its employees.
